RACHAEL BELL
Founder & Principal Interior Designer
Rachael’s passion for homes and interiors was sparked at an early age by her father who built custom homes in South Georgia. She marveled at the home building process and delighted in studying the architectural plans splayed across her father’s desk, often attempting to recreate her own floor plans.
Those early doodles turned into an actionable career plan when she chose to study Furnishings and Interiors at The University of Georgia. Following graduation, Rachael cut her teeth in the interior design industry working
with nationally acclaimed firms for nearly a decade before launching RBID in 2020.
Rachael’s design philosophy begins with her concept of home: she believes our homes help shape us as human beings. They make up the walls of our most cherished memories, give us refuge through trying times, and gather us in celebration. Rachael is passionate about cultivating environments where individuals and families can thrive.
SHANNON LOGAN
Associate Designer
Shannon’s passion for design and architecture was unknowingly cultivated by her mother who studied fashion design and her father who spent years as a real estate agent. Ultimately, while attending college on a full ride tennis scholarship, she decided to follow her other interest - biology - due to a strong desire to learn about autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Using this degree, she spent time working as a registered behavioral technician with children diagnosed with ASD.
However, once falling in love with small town Madison, Georgia, Shannon and her fiancé
Toby put down roots remodeling their first home together. It was then that she realized her passion for design never faded with time. Despite truly loving her time in the sciences, she found that design was her haven where she could lose herself in the structured layouts, fluid designs, and endless possibilities. She embraced this transition and took comfort in her skills that she curated throughout the years such as managing schedules, planning spaces, interacting with clients, and creating order out of chaos.
