Home for a ‘Hunnybee’

Design is always an exciting job for us at RBID. Working with homeowners to build a new home, reinvent an existing home through a remodel, or gussy up a space for a new purpose or new look brings the ultimate feel-good energy for us at RBID. But let me tell you - the sweetest task of all is designing a space for our littlest clients.

We recently wrapped up the installation of a special nursery for a baby girl due this spring. We wanted the room to be bright, feminine (but not in an overt way), and reflective of the family and their lifestyle. We incorporated a few of the family’s pets and farm animals into the space through custom pet portraits hung over a rustic oak dresser. The client already owned a wood bookshelf from her own childhood bedroom that we simply updated with a coat of paint in Benjamin Moore Homespun Charm. The motorized recliner offers the best of both comfort and function, including a USB port to charge your gadgets while you rock that sweet cherub. Ain’t life grand!

All we’re lacking is a sweet baby girl to play, learn and grow in her new room! View more of the ‘Hunnybee’ project in our portfolio.
